South Buffalo Alive established in 2000 is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the South Buffalo area. We are involved in the preservation and beautification of the neighborhoods, promoting special events, and recognizing the people who have made a difference to our area.

Fundraising and Membership

We are winding down with our annual membership drive if you haven't submitted your $10 membership we would greatly appreciate your support. Membership is our main source of revenue. The monies we receive are used to continue our mission for this community - the Parade of Circles - Garden Walk - Christmas in the Park - and the maintenance of Tim Russert's Children's Garden, Brookdale/Morgan Park and the 'Buffalo' Garden at McClellan Circle. Thank you for your help!!

2011 was a Busy Year

This year new LED lights were installed on the evergreen at the corner of Abbott and Potter Rd, the price of lights and instillation was more than expected, and we hope you will help us cover the cost by becoming a member.

This has also been an important year for Tim Russert's Children's Garden on South Park. After extensive damage from heavy snow and plowing, the garden has been rejuvenated, and there is a new heavy wooden fence.

This year's garden walk was a great success. Thanks to all of our wonderful neighbors who opened up their yards and invited people to enjoy their beautiful gardens. We truly appreciate your participation. We hope everyone enjoyed this year's Garden Walk.
