South Buffalo Alive is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the South Buffalo area. They are involved in the preservation and beautification of the neighborhoods, promoting special events, and recognizing the people who have made a difference to our area.

Keeping South Buffalo Beautiful:

We have completed many projects throughout South Buffalo, and we continue to maintain beautiful parks and public gardens. We helped lead the restoration of the McKinley and Mclellan Circles. Also painted, restored and landscaped Olmsted's Shelter House in Cazenovia Park. And created Tim Russert's Childeren's garden on South Park Avenue. Anual Events:

  • The Annual Parade of Circles ~1st Sunday Of June (June 2nd this year)
  • The Annual South Buffalo Garden Walk ( July 21st this year) ~ 3rd Sunday of July This year's Garden walk will be in honor of Tim Russert
  • South Park Italian Festival ~August
  • Blessing & lighting of Tree followed by Christmas in Caz Park ~1st Saturday of December (Dec. 7th this year)

History

Our First Project was Tylor Park, at the corner of South Park Ave. and Southside Parkway. This park has been adopted.
